What information does the Application collect and how is it used?

The Application does not require registration and does not ask you for personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number. You do not create an account to use it.

However, to understand how the app is used, improve it, and keep it stable, the Application uses third-party services (described below) that automatically collect certain data and transmit it off your device:

• Usage and analytics data — in-app interactions and events such as which surahs you play or download, mushaf pages you read, features and settings you use, onboarding progress, and searches you make within the app.
• Device and app information — device model, operating system version, app version, selected language, and network connection type.
• Approximate location — a general location (such as country or region) inferred from your IP address. The Application does not collect precise GPS location.
• Identifiers — a randomly generated app-instance identifier, a device identifier (Android ID on Android, Identifier for Vendors on iOS), and the device advertising ID. These are used only for analytics, never for advertising or marketing.
• Diagnostics — crash reports and performance data (such as load times and network request performance), including device state at the time of a crash, to help diagnose and fix problems.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The Application uses the following services from Google to process the data described above:

• Google Firebase Analytics
• Google Firebase Crashlytics
• Google Firebase Performance Monitoring

These providers process data on our behalf to provide analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring. Data is transmitted securely (encrypted in transit). For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase's privacy information.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing.

What are my opt-out rights and choices?

• You can stop all collection by uninstalling the Application using your device's standard uninstall process.
• The Application's settings include a Delete Data & Reset App option that removes data stored locally on your device.
• You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device's system settings.

Children

The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission.

If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider (qaftechet@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

Data retention

Analytics, crash, and performance data are retained for a limited period in accordance with our analytics configuration and Google's data-retention policies.

Security

The Service Provider values the confidentiality of your information and relies on its third-party providers' security measures, including encryption of data in transit, to help protect it.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to their Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy.

You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
